As an IT professional, sometimes contracts just end; that's the nature of the beast. While on my most recent hiatus I was standing in front of the fridge trying to decide what to eat and staring at the magnets on the fridge (because my mom would yell at me for standing there with the freezer or fridge doors open), I contemplated the one with the list of local events here in Liberty Hill. Besides the special events, there's also a 4th Saturday market every month.
So besides doing my livestreams and working outreach for the Astronomical Society, I started making some small products with my astronomy photos. I made buttons, keychains, and some photo prints. I also put in an application to be a vendor at the LHTX Market.
I'm not expecting to get rich here-I'm not even sure there's a market for astronomy buttons and prints-but what I AM looking forward to is sharing my love of the night sky with others. Besides my products, I'll also have my SeeStar set up for solar viewing as well as have brochures and information on light pollution.
